Parallel Reality

Rio de Janeiro X Singapore

Serenity lingers in its surroundings, yet the building rubs off
on me a
sense of solemnity while standing within it.
A surge of dominance and supremacy triumphs over me.

Enjoying a little meal along the Copacabana beach,
listening
to the sounds of samba and Bossa Nova.
The atmosphere of the kiosk brings upon a calming effect and
soothes the uneasiness the unfamiliar
surrounding imposes on me.

The first step into the fort brings upon
a sense of sorrow and tranquility.
Every corner of the site intrigues me and situates me
into the years of struggles to gain independence.
The contemporary characteristic is very much reflected on the building.
It has a open
facade, exposing much of the interior to the outside world
nevertheless keeping enough privacy for comfort.
Situated in the heart of the road junction is a dilapidated building,
however there lies an amiable semblance within itself,
giving the best welcome anyone can get.
A unique taste of contemporary food with a tinge of local flavour fused in it.

A touch of natural finish, with a wall of adornment to portray the genre of music.
