There is always a vague line between the natural environment and versus the man-made environment in this current date and time. In the context of Rio, the Copacabana Beach, was surrounded by various amounts of man-made buildings. Not to mention, i wouldn't even know if the beautiful beach was just natural, or was there even human intervention in it?
The installation that i designed, is to actually show this scene where the man-made environment is trying too hard to be something that belongs to the natural environment. Yet, the natural environment seems to have a problem blending in to the every growing man-made environment.
How do allow everyone else who walks by the same space i stepped in feel the same way and acknowledge this ambiguity?
